We offer a dental program in Cuba. Dental implants are the most requested conservative treatments as a safe, esthetic, and long-lasting solution to the loss of one or more teeth. They are made of pure titanium and act as a substitute for the tooth root. Once the implants are integrated with the bone, they will support the new prosthesis or crowns attached to them, giving the appearance of a natural tooth.
The program we offer consists of 3 phases:
– Diagnostic phase
– Surgical phase
– Rehabilitation phase
The price of the program includes surgery, cost of materials, equipment, as well as 2 evolution consultations.
Our main objective is to design the best smiles, treating the oral health of our patients with ethics and professionalism.
They are treated at the National Center of Estomatology (CENAEST). It is a very personalized treatment, and it is difficult to foresee a program since a primary evaluation must be made and from there the patient must be proposed the procedure to be followed. Generally, the patient asks for a price for a treatment that has already been quoted but it happens that when he/she comes and is evaluated, the solution variant can be or is another one. Preferably it is necessary to send a Panoramic Mandible X-Ray. The “Quick Load” implants are not always performed.
The implants that are performed here take two moments and therefore almost always two trips of the patient, using about two weeks each time. First Moment, a screw is implanted in the jaw and above a temporary prosthesis with a price of this procedure. The second moment, after three months, is when the temporary prosthesis is replaced by a definitive one (with a price for this other procedure).
Implants cannot be placed in patients with: Infection, Uncompensated diabetes, Coagulation problems, Lack of capacity in the bone.
Comments
- Bone Grafting, they are not performed in the country.
- Hematology, although some demands are very risky, such as Bone Marrow Transplant, Leukemia, Lymphomas, especially if the patients are in advanced stages. Each case must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
