Treatment of Vitiligo, Psoriasis, Alopecia
Advancements in Cuban healthcare allow it to offer innovative medical treatments for Vitiligo, Psoriasis and Alopecia. These conditions are treated at the Placental Histotherapy Center.
Cuban medicines are used such as: Melagenin, Coriodermine (Psoriasis gel), and Piloactive Lotion.
It has been proven that 75% are cured, 15% improve and only 8 to 10% maintain the disease. The program does not require hospitalisation. On the first day, the patient is evaluated, and the first treatment is given. On the following two days applications are given and the patient is instructed on how to apply the medication.
Melagenin Plus
Melagenin Plus is applied once a day on the de-pigmented areas until the entire lesion is covered. Its use and medical prescription are made under previous evaluation at the Placental Histotherapy Center through the program for the care of patients with vitiligo.
Melagenin Plus has properties that stimulate the production of melanocytes and skin re-pigmentation, with 86% effectiveness. The use of this drug is completely harmless, causes no side effects and can be used in children, pregnant women, and elderly patients.
Coriodermina
Coriodermina is presented in the form of a water-soluble gel to be applied topically and spread gently with the fingers, without rubbing on psoriatic lesions.
Patients are seen at the International Clinical Service of the Placental Histotherapy Center for a three-day stay, which begins with a medical evaluation to confirm the diagnosis and determine the amount of medication to be used later in their countries of origin, in order to achieve the desired effects.
The patient must abandon any medical treatment 45 days before coming to Cuba. If you do not bring the result of skin biopsy it can be performed at the time of evaluation.
